Salt Lake City and the Canyonlands, Utah, USA

After much consulting with my Garmin GPS, I managed to find Ronna and Michele's house in "The Avenues" of Salt Lake City. Ronna was thrilled with her new mixer and made molasses cookies for me the very next day. We talked and talked about life, the universe, and everything and finally decided that I needed to make up my mind where to go next.
My sister, happy with her new Kitchen Aid mixer

Great cat!

We decided I should go see southern Utah and the beautiful canyons it has to offer. The weather was stormy so I wasn't able to camp (we're talking tornadoes here) but I enjoyed a weekend of driving, hiking, and gawking.

So what next?

Well, how about Hawaii? I'd never been there and everyone's always saying how great it is and people on game shows sure do get excited when they win a trip to Hawaii so why don't I see what all the fuss is about? I called the "Travel Zone" travel agency in Salt Lake and Harriet helped me find a great package deal on Kauai, HI
