Elk Meadows and Umbrella Falls August, 2014
A lovley day on Mt. Hood! A classic hike to Elk Meadows with a bonus side trip to Umbrella Falls. The Umbrella Falls trail passes across Mt. Hood Meadows and under the ski lift. It was eerie seeing the empty t-bars dangling there. Lots of good berry bushes along the way, too. I'll be back when it's berry-picking time!
