Toasted Walnuts
(this recipe is from my friend Beth's blog)
Ingredients:
1 T extra virgin olive oil
1 T salted butter
2 T chopped fresh rosemary
1/2 tsp rubbed sage (or chopped fresh sage)
1 tsp smoked sweet paprika
1/2 tsp salt (or to taste)
3/4 lb. walnut halves

Preheat oven to 300 degrees Farenheit.

Heat oil and butter in a large skillet on low heat (you don't want to burn the butter). Add
rosemay, sage, paprika, and salt. Stir well & often. Once the butter starts to brown just a
little bit and smells kind of nutty, mix in the walnuts. Remove from heat and toss to coat.

Transfer contents of skillet to a large, foil-lined baking sheet and bake, stirring the walnuts
every five minutes or so, until toasted, about 20 minutes. Set aside to cool, then serve or
store in an airtight container.

(sorry, I don't have a nutritional profile for this recipe)
